How to Cut No-Shows With Upfront Payment and Smart Reminders

No-shows cost twice: the dead mileage and the job you turned away to hold the slot. Most of them are not malicious — the booking simply never became a commitment.
The single biggest change is asking for money at the moment of interest. When the quote and the payment link arrive in the same message, the customer decides while they still care.

Then automate reminders: one the day before with the driver and vehicle details, one on the morning of travel with a live tracking link. Give a one-tap way to reschedule — a moved job is far better than an empty one.
Publish a plain cancellation window and let the assistant quote it consistently. Disputes drop when the rule was stated in writing at booking time.
